Scholarship Application

Tulsa County Medical Society & TCMS Foundation is now receiving applications from eligible medical students for its 2024-2025 Scholarship Awards. These are cash grants which do not have to be repaid.

To be eligible, students must be in good standing and enrolled in their second, third, or fourth year (in the 2024-2025 academic year) at OU School of Community Medicine-Tulsa or OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine-Tulsa.

The results will be notified to all applicants, and the recipients will be announced in October. Scholarship awardees will be recognized at the November TCMS Annual Meeting and Scholarship Dinner.

Scholarship Application

The application period is July 1 - August 31, 2024. No applications will be accepted after August 31, 2024. 

Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply.

The application requires a personal statement or essay; below are the criteria before you start the application process. 

Provide a personal statement or essay about yourself, your educational plans, your long-range career plans, your interest in medicine, and any other information that you think will be of interest to the Scholarship Committee in evaluating your application for an educational assistance award.

Statement/Essay Requirements:

  • Please limit comments to 750 words or less.

  • One page.

  • Arial font, 11 font size, single-spaced.

  • Save and upload as a PDF.
